Shri Vasantdada Patil Dental College (SVPDC), Sangli was established in 1989. The College is a premier self-financed institute run under the aegis of Shri Vishwanathrao Shamrao Patil Charitable Trust, Sangli.
The college holds the unique distinction of being the first and most renowned Dental College in South Maharashtra. Previously affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur, the college has been permanently affiliated to the prestigious Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik and recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), New Delhi.
